SMP Retains KMT
Chattanooga-based SMP Industries recently selected KMT Creative Group as its branding/advertising agency of record.
SMP Industries consists of two divisions. SMP Display & Design manufactures retail displays for Fortune 500 clients. SMP Manufacturing Solutions is an OEM producer of parts for clients in a variety of industries. KMT was retained to clarify SMP’s brand architecture and to develop and implement a strategic branding plan for the company as a whole. The development of this plan will include extensive market research, identification of target groups, development of a positioning statement, crafting of appropriately-positioned creative, selection of branding vehicles and media, and establishing a means by which the plan’s effectiveness can be evaluated.
