After reviewing proposals, credentials, and work samples from dozens of advertising agencies across the state in order to select an agency for its system of trails and greenways, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation recently narrowed the selection to four finalists. These included The Tombras Group (Knoxville), White-Thompson (Nashville), Walker and Associates (Memphis), and KMT Creative Group (Chattanooga). Subsequent to presentations by all finalists, KMT Creative Group was selected.
Faced with the task of creating awareness and demand for greenways and trails among Tennessee’s six million citizens and visitors, KMT will develop an integrated campaign of television, radio, outdoor, and print advertising which will run in major markets throughout the state. Additionally, the development of a user-friendly web site will make it easy for potential users to obtain any information needed. The campaign will begin in February 2008 and run for approximately one year.
“We are ecstatic to have earned this opportunity”, stated KMT CEO John Thompson. “ Not only from a business perspective, but also as Tennesseans who have a deep love and abiding respect for our state’s outdoor heritage and natural beauty. Just as greenways are connective in nature, we plan to make certain that all Tennessee citizens become somehow connected to this incredible and multi-faceted resource”
KMT Creative Group is a full-service, Chattanooga-based agency that provides a complete range of branding and marketing solutions to local, regional, and national organizations. They have been in business since 2001.
