“Treat Yourself” Campaign Featured in Retail Trade Press

A national multi-media campaign developed by KMT Creative Group for client CBL & Associates Properties is currently being recognized in the September issues of Retail Traffic and Retail Ad World, and scheduled to be featured in the October issue of Chain Store Age.

After extensive research into the female 25-44 segment, the “Treat Yourself” campaign was developed to position CBL in a manner that would encourage shoppers to experience the feeling of indulging themselves by shopping in the company’s 83 malls and shopping centers throughout the United States. Featuring television, radio, outdoor, print, web, and on-mall components, the campaign is designed so that it can be customized for individual mall locations, thereby enabling mall marketing managers to benefit from corporate, umbrella branding, while at the same time, responding to the positioning demands of specific locations. This included making Spanish language versions available for appropriate markets.
In an economic environment where many retailers are currently struggling, CBL management has credited the campaign with boosting traffic for mall tenants in most of the company’s locations.
